Product Introduction
The tunnel waterproofing membrane is produced using the domestically advanced two-stage co-extrusion single-screw extrusion method. Raw material resin is mixed with reinforcing agents and antioxidants, then undergoes melting, plasticization, extrusion molding, and traction to form sheets. It can also be thermally fused with geotextiles with pre-installed hanging straps to form composite waterproofing membranes. Alternatively, the calendering method can be adopted: the resin is melted and plasticized in an extruder, and the molten sheet billet extruded from the narrow-slit die of the extruder head is fused with hanging straps into one piece. It is then calendered by rollers and cooled to form a smooth membrane, or fused with geotextiles with pre-installed hanging straps into one piece, followed by roller calendering and cooling to form composite waterproofing sheets.
Performance Characteristics (Tunnel Waterproofing Membrane)
Chemical corrosion resistance and UV radiation resistance;
Good aging resistance and wear resistance;
Strong puncture resistance;
Simple construction and no pollution.
Application Purposes (Tunnel Waterproofing Membrane)
Waterproofing for newly-built railways, highways, municipal roads, light rail transit construction (including bridge decks and tunnels), roofs, and underground projects;
Seepage prevention, corrosion resistance, and lining applications for water conservancy construction, sewage treatment projects, and chemical acid-alkali treatment tanks.
Construction Technology (Composite Geomembrane)
The laying of composite geomembrane is divided into two parts: channel bottom laying and slope laying.
Laying Method: For the channel bottom, lay horizontally by rolling along the axis direction of the channel. For the slope, after the slope is inspected and qualified, lay by rolling along the axis direction of the slope. The connection between the slope-laid composite geomembrane and the channel bottom-laid composite geomembrane adopts a T-shaped joint.
