Product Introduction
It is categorized into single-stud geomembrane and double-stud geomembrane. Products manufactured via this production process not only retain the excellent mechanical properties, good elongation, and stable chemical properties inherent in the original resin, but also have enhanced tensile strength, wear resistance, and puncture resistance. This enhancement is achieved by adding a certain proportion of functional additives and going through processes such as melting, extrusion, calendering, and stretching. The mechanical properties of this product are nearly 3 times higher than those of textured anti-slip geomembranes produced by similar conventional processes. The studs on the membrane surface are formed by calendering with a special mold roller, featuring uniform distribution and an attractive appearance, which helps increase the friction coefficient. Furthermore, the front and back sides of the membrane can be thermally fused into an integrated piece using different materials and colors. In engineering applications, the selection of the front or back side can be determined based on geological conditions and project requirements.
Performance Characteristics
The external studs have an attractive appearance and are evenly distributed, with a high friction coefficient.
It possesses seepage-proofing and anti-slip functions, facilitating construction.
Application Purposes
The stud-type geomembrane can increase the friction coefficient with the contact surface and enhance the anti-slip performance of the geomembrane. It is particularly suitable for vertical seepage-proofing of gentle slopes and steep slopes, improving the stability of the project. It can effectively prevent the geomembrane from sliding down and reduce the stress on both the welds and the membrane itself.
Construction Technology
The HDPE double-stud textured geomembrane is mainly used on side slopes, and its primary function is anti-slip. During laying, it should be rolled and paved from top to bottom. The lap width between adjacent membranes is approximately 15 cm, and an automatic climbing welding machine should be used for welding.
